We’ve gone through and corrected some of this misinformation to ensure you get the most out of your weight loss journey.

Common Misconceptions of the HCG Diet:

I Can Eat Whatever I Want on the Diet as Long as I Take the Drops

If you eat whatever you want and tell yourself it is okay as long as you stay under the 500-calorie restriction each day, you will not have success on the program. The food list is specific for a reason and straying from that even while still staying within the caloric limitations could spell failure because of the high amount of fats, oils, and carbohydrates, and sodium that can cause a stall on the diet.

The Hormone Will Cause Cause me to get Pregnant

There is no ingredient in this blend that will Cause pregnancy. HCg is a hormone that helps release stored fat cells by triggering the hypothalamus to release stored fat cells in the body. It works together with amino acids that help suppress the appetite and promote building muscle and burning fat.

Men Who Do The HCG Diet Grow Boobs

Being overweight will give you man boobs. THis hormone is not full f estrogen and will not cause you to change genders. Hormones have many different functions in the body. This hormone helps stimulate your hypothalamus to communicate to your body that it need to release stored fat cells.

Alcohol is Fine on the HCG Diet

Alcoholic beverages are high in sugar and carbohydrates which can affect your weight loss. It can cause a stall and distract the HCG from helping you release and burn the stored fat off your body. We do not advise drinking alcoholic beverages on the HCG diet.

I can’t Exercise on the HCG Diet

Yes you can exercise. It is important to not over exert yourself. Be active but know your limits and do not do strenuous activity while on this program. Do not feel like you are going to have the bikini model body tomorrow if you run way more than necessary and don’t eat all of your portions. This will only make you ill and frustrate the diet more.

The HCG Diet Ruins my Metabolism

The concepts of the diet will help speed up your metabolism and help you develop healthy habits of eating fresh foods and avoiding pre-packaged products.  We intend for you to not have to repeat the diet. However, personal choice will be a key factor in your performance. It is important to make an effort after the diet is finished to continue to help your metabolism by exercising and keeping lean muscle on yourself.

The HCG Diet Affects My Menstrual Cycle

We recommend starting the diet after your cycle. Losing weight can affect your estrogen levels and cause a change in your cycle routine. There are many way to cause an adjustment in your cycle but the HCG will not directly cause anything to happen.

I Can Use Whatever Sweetener on the HCG Diet as Long as it is Zero Calorie

Stevia is a natural sweetener that comes from a plant. We recommend using Stevia on the HCG diet. Most other sweeteners can cause hunger pain, increase your cravings, and contain extra calories. You may add Stevia to your coffee, water, or herbal tea.

I Will Gain The Weight Back

A lot of customers are concerned that they will  gain all the weight back when they begin increasing their calories? The diet program is intended to help you develop good habits to eat lean meat, fresh fruit, and vegetables. It is important that you continue to eat healthy foods even when off the HCG diet. If you do go back to old habits of eating high fatty foods again then you will gain the weight back.

This program is a lifestyle change and it is important to make sure you are not cheating on the program.

Exercise Won’t Help Me Maintain My Weight Loss

Lifting weights increases your body’s rate of metabolism and keeps it raised long after the activity is completed. This is because your body has an increased demand for oxygen as a result of the workout and hence registers an increase in the metabolic rate.”

According to the Mayo Clinic Staff they wrote that “Exercise can help prevent excess weight gain or help maintain weight loss. When you engage in physical activity, you burn calories. The more intense the activity, the more calories you burn.” Weight training will help increases lean mass (muscle) over time. Lean Muscle is metabolically active tissue and burns body fat constantly. It is the most important part of balancing weight and maintaining control. Shorter sessions of interval training are much more effective for maintaining lean muscle. Don’t let these common misconceptions of the HCG Diet hold you back from reaching your full potential!
