Sugar Free Baked Apple Recipe

It’s not apple pie, but this sugar free baked apple comes pretty close. Though that warm apple pie may be tempting, try to eat treats that aren’t loaded with sugar. Try this baked apple recipe. It’s sugar free, low-carb, safe for diabetics and HCG Dieters, and completely tasty. Not to mention, the smell of these apples cooking is just as good as the smell of an apple pie. Is it fall yet? Sugar Free Baked AppleSugar Free Baked Apple Recipe

• 1 apple, cored

• Juice from 1 lemon

• Zest of 1 lemon

• 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

• Dash of cloves

• Small pinch of salt

• Stevia to taste

Place cored apple in a small casserole dish. Squeeze lemon juice inside and around apple. Mix cinnamon, clove, salt and Stevia in small bowl and sprinkle inside and around apple. Top with lemon zest. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes and serve.
