HCG Approved Texas Chicken Cabbage Recipe

Spice up dinner tonight with this delicious Texas Chicken Cabbage Recipe! It’s approved for Phase 2 of the HCG Diet and it’s packed with spicy flavor.

Texas Chicken Cabbage Recipe

  • 100 grams chicken, chopped
  • 2 c cabbage finely chopped into rice sized (I used a food processor)
  • 1 cup low sodium, fat-free chicken broth or water
  • 1/2 t cumin
  • 1/2 – 1 T chili powder
  • 2 T minced onion
  • 2 clove garlic crush and minced
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Frank’s hot pepper sauce (optional)
In a large frying pan, cook chicken over medium high heat. Add the rest of ingredients and cook until cabbage is tender adding more water or broth as necessary. Top with hot sauce and serve warm.
Counts as 1 serving veggie, 1 serving protein
