Hearty HCG Approved Tomato Soup Recipe

There’s just something special about a bowl of hot soup after a long day. Soup is comfort food, and if you do it right it can be comfort food without the calories! Here’s a great HCG Approved Tomato soup recipe that you will LOVE! Next time it’s cold out and you’ve had a tough day, heat up a bowl of this hearty tomato goodness.

HCG Approved Tomato Soup Recipe

  • 2 cups low sodium, low fat chicken broth
  • 2 cups tomatoes, diced
  • 3 ozĀ tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons diced onion
  • 1 T basil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1/4 t oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered stevia
  • salt & pepper to taste

In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients until mixture reaches desired soupy consistency. Pour into a pot, bring to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes.

Makes 2 servings, each serving is 2 cups
